Hadrosaurus foulkii Leidy, 1858

Remarks

  • Collection:   Monmouth Amateur Paleontologists Society (Ralph Johnson)
  • Formation:  Monmouth Group, Mount Laurel Formation
  • Location:     Monmouth County, New Jersey
  • right shin bone
  • This is a historically significant dinosaur, as it was the first partly articulated dino found in North America.
  • Prieto-Márquez et al. reexamined this dino and consider it a nomen dubium since there is nothing diagnostic about the type material that says that it's a new or described species (evidence is inconclusive).
