In Poland, Mosasaurus (Leiodon) anceps (Owen)occurs in the Belemnella kazimiroviensis Zone, very Late Maastrichtian Stage (65 mya). -
The Moroccan material is very Late Maastrichtian in age as well. -
In England, France and Sweden, the species is reported from very Late Campanian sediments. The holotype is from England. Geographic Occurrence (not an all-inclusive list) -
