Age

  • Scapanorhynchus raphiodon (Agassiz) ranges from about the Sciponoceras gracile (Shumard) zone to roughly the Peroniceras (Peroniceras) westphalicum (Schlüter) zone, from middle Turonian to middle Coniacian time (~94–88 mya).
