Age

  • Cretolamna appendiculata (Agassiz) occurs from about the Mortoniceras (Angolaites) drakei (Young) zone to the Discoscaphites sphaeroidalis zone, from the very Late Albian Stage to the end of the Cretaceous Period (~96–65 mya).
