Age

  • Belemnitella americana (Morton) ranges from about the Didymoceras nebrascense (Meek and Hayden) zone to about the Baculites cuneatus Cobban zone of Kennedy, Cobban, and Scott, lower upper to middle upper Campanian stage (~76–73 mya).
