Age

  • Agerostrea falcata (Morton) ranges from about the Menabites (Delawarella) sabinalensis Young zone to about the Nostoceras (Nostoceras) draconis Stephensonzone (upper Lower Campanian to lower Maastrichtian, ~81–69 mya).
  • It may well range into the Middle Maastrichtian Stage.
