Stratigraphic Occurrence
- Trinity Group, Upper Glen Rose Formation of Central Texas. It may extend down into the lower Glen Rose.
Age
- Arca simondsi occurs in the upper part of the Glen Rose Limestone, putting it in the Hypacanthoplites comalensis (Scott) zone of Young (upper Lower Albian, ~108 mya).

- Bandera County
- Comal County
- Coryell County
