Nuculana Link, 1807 sp.

Remarks
-
Collector: Keith Minor
-
Formation: Taylor Group, Wolfe City Formation
-
Location: Lamar County, Texas
-
There are several possible species that this clam may fit into (described from the Navarro Group-see Stephenson, 1941 below). However we don't have enough information to make a positive identification. The hinge line and teeth are so important in this regard.
-
We did not find a Nuculana reported from the Wolfe City Formation in the literature.
