Stratigraphic Occurrence

  • Trinity Group, Upper Glen Rose Formation of Central Texas. It may extend down into the lower part of the formation.

 

Age

  • Panopea henselli (Hill) occurs in the upper part of the Glen Rose Limestone, in the Hypacanthoplites comalensis (Scott) zone of Young, early Albian time (~108 mya).

  • Coryell County, TX
  • Travis County, TX
