Stratigraphic Occurrence - Trinity Group, Upper Glen Rose Formation of Central Texas. It may extend down into the lower part of the formation.
Age - Panopea henselli (Hill) occurs in the upper part of the Glen Rose Limestone, in the Hypacanthoplites comalensis (Scott) zone of Young, early Albian time (~108 mya).
Geographic Occurrence (by no means an all-inclusive list) - Coryell County, TX
