Stratigraphic Occurrence

  • Uppermost Washita Grp, Buda Fm of central TX

  • Uppermost Washita Grp, Grayson Formation in north TX

  • Aurora Limestone of Sierra Tlahuallio, Coahuila, Mexico

 

Age

  • Homomya budaensis Whitney occurs in the Buda LS and equivalents, Graysonites lozoi Young zone, and possibly higher up in the Buda into the Budaiceras hyatti (Shattuck) zone, early Middle Cenomanian Stage (~97 to possibly 96 mya).
