Ceritella proctori (Cragin, 1893)

Remarks

  • Collector:    Keith Minor

  • Formation:  Fredericksburg Group, Lower Segovia Limestone

  • Location:     Kimble County, Texas

  • The Limestone from which these were found was composed almost entirely gastropod and rudistid fragments.

  • We would like to thank the late Professor Keith Young (UT Austin) for positively id'ing these for us since much of the diagnostic ornamentation is gone as a result of the extensive recrystallization of the calcium carbonate.
