Stratigraphic Occurrence (older names and misidentifications in the literature)

  • Washita Group, base and middle of Grayson Formation of north and north-central Texas

 

Age

  • Ophiura graysonensis (Alexander) occurs in the Graysonites adkinsi Young zone or Graysonites lozoi Young zone, Early Cenomanian Stage (~97 mya).

 

Geographic Occurrence (by no means an all-inclusive list)

  • McLennan County, TX
  • Tarrant County, TX
